Day 122: 5 Websites Live, A Fixed Computer, And A Goal Of 10

Today officially marks Day 122 of my journey to $40,000 per month online.

Honestly, today wasn't one of those flashy days where a huge commission came in or some life-changing breakthrough happened.

It was one of those behind-the-scenes days.

The kind of day that probably doesn't look very exciting from the outside, but the kind that actually moves the needle over time.

Most of my day was spent working on my new Rank & Rent websites and trying to fix my work computer so I could actually log in and do my call center job again.

Thankfully, both missions were successful.

The computer is working again.

And I'm now officially up to 5 Rank & Rent websites live on the internet.

So let's dive into today's update.

June Income Update

As of today, the amount of money that has actually hit my bank account for June is sitting at:

$2,355.85

For being only halfway through the month, I'm pretty happy with that number.

Most of that money is still coming from my call center job, which isn't exactly the dream scenario.

My ultimate goal has always been to replace that income with online income.

Not because I hate working.

Not because I never want to work again.

But because I want more freedom over my time.

I want the ability to work from wherever I want, whenever I want, and spend my days building something that's actually mine.

I'm not there yet.

But every month that passes feels like another step closer.

And I'm really hoping this Rank & Rent journey ends up being one of the vehicles that helps me get there.

Fingers crossed.

My Email List Is Shrinking... But I'm Not Mad About It

One thing I noticed today is that my email list has dropped down to:

2,962 leads

A few months ago, seeing that number go down would have bothered me.

Now?

Not nearly as much.

Because while the list size is shrinking, something interesting is happening.

My open rates are actually going up.

Lately I've been consistently seeing email open rates above 30%, which makes me really happy.

I'd much rather have a smaller list of people who actually open and read my emails than a giant list full of people who never engage with anything.

Quality beats quantity.

Every time.

As I continue shifting more of my attention toward Rank & Rent and less toward traditional affiliate email marketing, I wouldn't be surprised if the list keeps shrinking a little bit.

And honestly, that's okay.

The people who stay are the people who actually want to be here.

5 Websites Down, 5 More To Go

The biggest accomplishment today was getting more Rank & Rent websites published.

I'm officially sitting at:

5 websites live

My immediate goal is to reach 10 websites.

The creator of the Rank & Rent program made a statement that really stuck with me.

He said he's never seen someone put up 10 legitimate Rank & Rent websites and fail to make any money.

Now obviously there are no guarantees in business.

Anyone promising guaranteed income is usually someone you should run away from.

But hearing that gave me confidence.

Because 10 websites suddenly feels like a concrete target.

It's no longer some vague dream.

It's a measurable goal.

5 down.

5 to go.

Will it work?

I honestly don't know yet.

But I'm excited to find out.

And even if it doesn't work exactly how I hope, I'll still come out of this with new skills, new websites, and a much better understanding of local SEO.

That's a win either way.

My Work Computer Finally Lives Again

The other major victory today was finally getting my work computer fixed.

For the past 2 days I couldn't take calls because of a login issue that started after changing my password.

I've noticed something funny over the years.

Every time a company tries to make their login process "more secure," it somehow becomes twice as complicated.

More passwords.

More authentication.

More steps.

More things that can break.

Maybe that's just me.

But it definitely feels that way sometimes.

Thankfully, the tech team was able to get everything sorted out and I'm able to log in again.

I'm grateful for that because, while my long-term goal is to replace my job income, that paycheck is still helping fund this entire journey.

Every website.

Every tool.

Every experiment.

Every new opportunity.

It all gets funded by the income I'm earning right now.

So keeping that computer working is pretty important.

The Bigger Picture

One thing I've learned over the last few years is that success usually doesn't happen in giant dramatic moments.

Most of the time it looks a lot like today.

Fixing problems.

Building assets.

Learning new skills.

Taking small steps forward.

And repeating that process over and over again.

It's not always exciting.

It's not always glamorous.

But it's how progress happens.

Today wasn't a million-dollar day.

It was a brick-laying day.

And enough bricks eventually become a house.
