Day 126: I Finally Hit 10 Rank & Rent Websites
Friday, June 19, 2026
Today officially marks Day 126 of my journey to $40,000 per month online.
First off, sorry I missed the past 2 days.
I've been adjusting to a new prescription medication for my epilepsy, and one of the side effects is sleepiness. And when I say sleepiness, I mean the kind where you sit down for a minute and suddenly wake up wondering what year it is.
So yeah... the last couple of days have been a little rough in the energy department.
The good news?
Even though I wasn't posting blog updates, I was still making progress behind the scenes.
In fact, I hit a pretty big milestone.
I Officially Have 10 Rank & Rent Websites Live
As of today, I officially have 10 rank and rent websites published and online.
Honestly, that's something I'm pretty excited about.
When I first started looking into rank and rent, it felt overwhelming. There were domains to buy, websites to build, content to write, phone numbers to set up, tracking to configure, and a million little details that seemed confusing at first.
But now?
I have 10 sites live.
They're real.
They're online.
And they're slowly starting their journey through Google.
The creator of the rank and rent program I'm following told me something interesting. He said he's never personally seen someone build 10 rank and rent websites and fail to make money from them eventually.
Now, is that a guarantee?
Of course not.
Nothing in business is guaranteed.
But hearing that definitely gives me some confidence.
Because for the first time, I feel like I've built enough assets that something has a real chance of happening.
The Waiting Game Begins
Now comes the part that isn't quite as exciting.
Waiting.
The strategy I'm following says most sites take roughly 2 to 3 months before they start gaining meaningful rankings in Google.
So right now I'm in that weird phase where I've done the work, but I haven't seen the results yet.
If everything goes according to plan, July and August should start getting interesting.
The goal is simple:
Get the websites ranking.
Start generating phone calls and leads.
Partner with local businesses.
Get paid for the leads.
That's the plan, anyway.
We'll see what reality decides to do.
But I'm cautiously optimistic.
June Income Update
For the month of June so far, the amount that has actually hit my bank account is:
$2,355.85
Not bad.
Most of that income is still coming from my call center job.
I'm grateful for that income because it's helping fund everything I'm building on the side.
But obviously my long-term goal is for my online business income to eventually surpass my job income.
That's the dream.
And hopefully rank and rent ends up being the vehicle that gets me there.
Email List Update
My email list currently sits at:
2,895 leads
That's actually down from where it was before.
And honestly, I'm okay with that.
Would I like the number to be growing?
Sure.
But I've noticed something much more important lately.
My open rates have been climbing.
For a while now I've consistently been seeing 30%+ open rates, which makes me really happy.
I'd rather have a smaller list that actually reads my emails than a giant list that ignores everything I send.
As I spend more time focusing on rank and rent and less time focusing on email marketing, I wouldn't be surprised if the list continues to shrink a little.
But if engagement stays high, I'm perfectly fine with that tradeoff.
The Bigger Picture
One thing I've learned over the last couple of years is that progress doesn't always look exciting when you're living through it.
Sometimes progress looks like:
Buying another domain.
Publishing another website.
Writing another piece of content.
Learning another skill.
Showing up on a day when you don't really feel like it.
None of those things are very glamorous.
But they stack.
And eventually enough little actions become something meaningful.
Right now, that's what this season feels like for me.
Lots of building.
Lots of preparation.
Lots of planting seeds.
I'm hoping some of those seeds start sprouting over the next few months.
Final Thoughts
So that's where things stand on Day 126.
10 rank and rent websites are live.
June income is sitting at $2,355.85.
My email list is at 2,895 leads.
And now the focus shifts from building websites to improving them and helping them rank.
Hopefully future Jack looks back on this post and laughs because these 10 websites ended up changing everything.
We'll find out soon enough.
