Day 135: Consistency Is Finally Starting to Feel Like a Superpower
Today is Sunday, June 28, 2026, which officially marks Day 135 of my journey to $40,000 per month.
And honestly... I'm feeling pretty good.
For the past few days I've managed to stick to the daily game plan I set for myself, and that feels like a huge win.
Every day my goal is simple:
🎥 1 YouTube review in the morning
✍️ 1 blog update
📧 1 email
🎥 1 more YouTube review in the evening
Nothing flashy. Nothing revolutionary.
Just showing up and putting in the work.
Lately I've actually been doing it consistently, and I'm proud of that.
If you've been following this blog for a while, you probably know that consistency has never been my strongest quality. I'm someone who gets excited about new ideas, starts a million projects, and sometimes struggles to keep the momentum going.
So this streak means a lot more to me than it probably looks like on the surface.
Every day I stick to the plan feels like another small victory over one of my biggest weaknesses.
And that's incredibly motivating.
June Income Update
As of today, the amount that's actually hit my bank account during June is:
💰 $4,127.95
I'm pretty happy with that.
Most of that income is still coming from my overnight call center job, but my goal has always been for my online business to eventually become the bigger source of income.
I can already see that happening little by little.
On top of that, I'm expecting another payout from my main affiliate program on Monday, so June isn't quite finished yet. It'll be fun to see where the final number ends up.
My Email List
My email list is now sitting at:
📬 2,739 subscribers
Yep... it's still slowly shrinking.
That's never the most exciting thing to see.
But here's the part that actually has me encouraged...
My open rates have been climbing noticeably lately.
To me, that's a really good sign.
I'd much rather have a smaller list full of people who actually enjoy reading my emails than a massive list that ignores everything I send.
Of course, I don't plan on letting the list keep shrinking forever.
The YouTube reviews I've been publishing have been bringing in new leads consistently. Right now they're just not quite replacing everyone who's unsubscribing.
So my next objective is pretty straightforward:
Create more helpful videos.
Reach more people.
Keep growing.
It's really that simple.
The Long Game
One thing I've learned from trying to build an online business is that effort and results don't always happen at the same time.
Sometimes you work incredibly hard...
...and nothing seems to happen.
Then weeks later everything starts showing up at once.
That's why I'm trying not to judge today's work based only on today's results.
Instead, I'm trying to trust that every blog post, every email, every YouTube video, and every person I help is another brick laid toward something much bigger.
I'm still waiting for my bank account to fully reflect the work I've been putting in.
But I genuinely believe it will.
Not because I'm lucky.
Not because I found some magic shortcut.
But because I'm finally doing something I've struggled with for years...
I'm staying consistent.
If I can keep that going, I honestly like my chances.
So... wish me luck. 😄
