Day 14 – $160, 86 Leads, and Something Brewing

February 28, 20263 min read

Today is day 14 of my journey toward $40,000 per month.

This afternoon I got a $160 payout sent to my PayPal account.

Not insane.
Not “retire your parents” money.

But still… it just showed up.

And that never gets old.

I wasn’t clocked in.
I wasn’t on a sales call.
I wasn’t doing anything.

It just hit.

That’s the part I care about.

My email list is now at 86 people. Slowly climbing. I wish I had some magical button I could press to instantly flood it with thousands of leads… but I’ve been burned by paid ads enough times to know how that story usually ends.

As for actual money that has hit my bank account this month, it’s still sitting at $3,577.31. No change from yesterday.

I thought about transferring the PayPal payout into checking just to make this post look more impressive… but PayPal fees are annoying and honestly I kind of like having some money sitting there in case I want to buy something business-related.

Now here’s where things get interesting.

One of my mentors just announced his next program drops March 6th at 11:59pm Eastern.

This is the same guy whose last program helped me generate over $43,000 in confirmed commissions.

So yeah… when he builds something new, I pay attention.

This one is being positioned as an affiliate marketing ecosystem where every lead I bring in is hard-coded to me long term.

Meaning if someone enters through me and buys later — I still get paid.

That’s big.

He’s also advertising free traffic inside the system.

And if you’ve followed me at all, you know traffic is the hardest part of this whole game. Getting eyeballs consistently without lighting money on fire is not easy.

So that part definitely has my attention.

Is it guaranteed?
No.

Is it magic?
Also no.

But structurally… it makes sense to me.

And I already built my funnel in a way where I can rotate offers easily. So when this launches, I can plug it in without rebuilding everything.

One of my friends already told me she wants to buy through me.

So there might already be a high-ticket sale lined up next week.

If that comes through… yeah, you’ll probably hear about it.

Other than that, today was solid.

I wrote an email.
Made a short-form video.
And finally cleaned out about 200 Facebook friend requests.

Most were scammers.
A few were real people.
Welcome to the internet.

But here’s what I keep thinking about…

That random $160 payout?

A couple years ago, that wouldn’t have existed.

It only exists because I kept building things that work in the background.

It’s not huge.
But it’s proof.

And if I can stack enough of those… that’s where this whole $40K/month thing starts feeling less crazy.

If you want to see the framework I’m using to build this — the funnels, the email list, the affiliate structure — I break it down inside my free training.

No hype.
No guarantees.
Just what I’m actually doing.
