Day 145: I Might Be About to Work 2 Full-Time Jobs 😅

Welcome to Day 145 of my journey to $40,000 per month.
First off... sorry I missed yesterday's update.
I wish I had some dramatic excuse, but honestly, I was just feeling lazy and unmotivated. We all have those days. The important thing is getting back up and continuing the journey, so here we are.
The biggest thing that happened today was the job interview I mentioned in my last update, and honestly... I think it went pretty well.
💰 July Income Update
So far, the amount of money that's actually hit my bank account during July is...
$72.97
Not exactly life-changing money yet. 😂
But it's still very early in the month, and I'm expecting another paycheck from my overnight call center job this Thursday, so I'm looking forward to watching that number climb.
One thing I've learned over the past couple of years is that income can look really strange when you're building multiple streams of revenue. Some weeks it feels like nothing is happening...
...and then suddenly several different payments show up at once.
That's one of the reasons I like documenting this journey publicly. You get to see the exciting days, the boring days, the slow days, and hopefully eventually the incredible days too.
📧 Email List Update
My email list is currently sitting at 2,455 subscribers.
That's actually down a bit, and yes... it's been slowly declining over the past several weeks.
Surprisingly though, I'm not too worried about it.
Why?
Because I've noticed my open rates have been climbing.
I'd much rather have a smaller list that's genuinely interested in what I'm sharing than a massive list full of people who never open a single email.
Of course, I don't plan on letting the list keep shrinking forever.
My plan is to start growing it again with more YouTube review videos and possibly some paid advertising once the timing makes sense.
It's all part of the process.
🎉 The Job Interview
Now let's talk about the interview.
Overall, I walked away feeling pretty good about it.
At this point, I've been through enough interviews that I feel like I have a decent understanding of what employers are looking for. I know how to communicate my experience, answer questions confidently, and show that I'm someone who genuinely wants to work hard.
The recruiter told me I should hear back by Friday, so now it's just a waiting game.
If I get the job...
Things are about to get pretty crazy.
I'll be working 2 full-time jobs while continuing to build my online business.
Yes... that's going to make for some very full days.
The plan would basically be to spend around 2/3 of my day working and the remaining 1/3 sleeping.
Not exactly glamorous.
But here's the thing...
This isn't how I want to live forever.
This is a season.
I'm willing to work incredibly hard now because I believe it gives me a much better chance of building the life I actually want later.
If everything comes together, I should earn well over 6 figures this year between my jobs and my online business.
More importantly, I'll have multiple income streams coming in instead of depending on just one paycheck.
For someone with big goals and big dreams, that's a position I really want to be in.
So...
Wish me luck.
Hopefully by my next update I'll have some good news to share.
