Day 147: I Might Be About to Work 2 Full-Time Remote Jobs... 😅

Welcome to Day 147 of my journey to $40,000 per month.
First things first... sorry I missed yesterday's update.
I'll be honest with you—I just wasn't feeling it.
Yesterday was one of those days where the motivation tank was running on empty. I felt lazy, unmotivated, and just didn't have much energy to write. It happens. I'm trying to document this journey honestly, and that means you get to see the off days too, not just the exciting wins.
The good news?
Even though I wasn't feeling particularly motivated, I still managed to apply for a few more jobs.
And now something pretty interesting might be happening...
I Might Have Found My Second Full-Time Job
Out of all the applications I submitted, one opportunity really caught my attention.
It's a fully remote customer service position for a portable toilet company.
Definitely not something I ever imagined myself doing.
If you had told me 10 years ago that I'd potentially be working customer service for a portable toilet company while building an online business on the side, I probably would've laughed.
Life has a funny way of surprising you.
But honestly...
I don't really care what industry I'm working in.
Portable toilets.
Pizza.
Banking.
Insurance.
Whatever.
As long as the people are decent, the work is honest, and it helps me build the life I want, I'm all for it.
Sometimes we get so caught up trying to find the "perfect" opportunity that we overlook really good ones sitting right in front of us.
This Could Push My Income Into 6 Figures
The really exciting part?
If I land this job, my annual income should climb above 6 figures.
That has been one of my goals for a very long time.
Now...
I'll admit this isn't exactly how I pictured reaching it.
I always imagined hitting 6 figures from my online business alone.
Instead, I might get there by combining:
My overnight remote call center job
A second full-time remote customer service job
My affiliate marketing business
And honestly?
I'm perfectly okay with that.
I've never been attached to how I reach my goals.
I just care that I keep moving forward.
A lot of people hear "2 full-time jobs" and immediately think...
"There's no way I could do that."
Maybe they're right.
Maybe it won't last forever.
But when you have a really big vision for your future, your perspective changes.
Working 80 hours a week sounds crazy...
...until you realize you've already been spending that much time chasing your goals anyway.
Between creating content, writing emails, working on websites, learning new skills, experimenting with marketing, and everything else that comes with building a business, I was already investing an enormous amount of time into making more money.
This would just mean more of those hours are guaranteed to produce income while I continue building my online business in the background.
That's a trade I'm willing to make.

My interview for the portable toilet company is this coming Monday, and I'm genuinely excited about it.
I've also applied for a few other positions, but many of them require working in an office.
The problem with that is I'd likely have to relocate closer to the job and start paying for an apartment, Uber rides, or Lyft rides.
Those extra expenses add up fast.
A fully remote position would make my life dramatically simpler.
So here's hoping everything goes well.
I'll definitely keep you updated.
July Income Update
As for money that's actually hit my bank account this month...
July total so far: $1,685.05
The biggest reason for that jump was my paycheck from my overnight call center job, which came in yesterday for $1,612.08.
Not a bad way to start the month.
That said...
I'm greedy.
In the best possible way. 😂
I don't mean greedy for expensive cars or fancy watches.
I'm greedy for freedom.
I'm greedy for options.
I'm greedy for the ability to help the people I care about.
I'm greedy for never having to stress about money again.
So while I'm grateful for every paycheck that comes in...
I still want more.
The good news is I'm also expecting a commission payment from my main affiliate marketing program this coming Monday, so I'm looking forward to seeing what that looks like.
