Day 27: Leads Are Growing, Sweepstakes Nerves, and My 21-Email Monster

So today is Day 27 of my journey to $40,000 per month online, and honestly… some pretty exciting things are happening right now.

My email list has been growing faster than I expected lately, and there are only about two or three days left before my $1,000 sweepstakes ends.

Which means things are starting to get interesting.

But before we get into that, let’s talk numbers for a second.

Income Update

So far in March, my total income sitting in my bank account is still $1,810.05.

Nothing new has hit my bank account since my last update.

Is that terrible?

No.

Is it where I want it to be?

Also no.

The truth is, most of that money is still coming from my call center job.

And look… I’ll be honest.

I’ve never been a huge fan of traditional jobs.

But I also can’t deny something important about them:

Jobs are incredibly reliable.

Every couple weeks… money shows up.

No marketing required.

No algorithms.

No funnels.

No wondering if anyone will click anything.

Just… paycheck.

And when you’re building something online, that reliability can actually be really helpful while you’re figuring everything out.

But of course…

My goal is still the same:

Eventually replace that income entirely.

Preferably sooner rather than later.

My Email List Is Growing

Now for the exciting part.

My email list is now sitting at 242 leads.

That’s 23 new leads since my last update.

Which might not sound like a lot to some people…

But to me?

That’s 23 real human beings who are now following my journey.

And that’s honestly pretty cool.

A lot of these new leads actually came from the $1,000 sweepstakes I’m running right now.

The 21-Email Nurture Sequence

Yesterday I worked on something that honestly took way longer than I expected.

I built a 21-email nurture sequence for brand new leads.

Twenty one emails.

Yeah.

It’s kind of a monster.

The idea behind it is simple:

Most people who join my list have never made money online before.

They’re skeptical.

Confused.

Probably overwhelmed.

So this sequence is designed to take someone who is completely cold and slowly warm them up over time.

By the time they finish those emails, my goal is for them to:

• Understand how making money online actually works
• Know my story and who I am
• Feel comfortable enough to trust my recommendations

And eventually…

Be ready to purchase programs that can genuinely help them.

Now here’s the funny part.

Since I’m still fairly new to email marketing, I actually got a lot of help building this sequence with ChatGPT.

What I basically did was dump my entire life story into it.

My story about:

• Ending up in the emergency room
• Working a ton of different jobs
• Eventually landing at the call center
• Feeling stuck and wanting something better

Then I told it my goals for the sequence.

The result?

Honestly…

The emails turned out pretty entertaining.

I caught myself thinking:

“If I was brand new to all this… I’d probably look forward to reading these.”

But then again…

Maybe I’m a little biased.

Considering they’re about my life.

Today I also built something I probably should have made a long time ago.
