Day 36 of My Journey to $40K/Month (Progress, Reality, and Some Wild AI Videos)
Alright… quick life update.
Today is day 36 of my journey to hitting $40,000 per month online.
And honestly… a lot has happened since my last update.
If you’ve been following me on Instagram or Facebook, you’ve probably noticed things have been getting a little more… interesting lately 😅
I’ve made a couple commissions, almost doubled my income for March, added over 100 new leads to my email list, and went a little overboard creating realistic AI videos of “Jack” doing some pretty ridiculous things.
So yeah… let’s get into it.
💰 Income Update (The Honest Version)
My total income for March is now at:
$3,476.95
Now before anyone gets too excited… let me be real with you.
The majority of that is still coming from my call center job.
So no… I haven’t escaped the 9–5 yet.
But progress is progress.
Also important — this number only includes money that has actually hit my bank account.
I still have commissions pending, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned in this space, it’s this:
Nothing is real until it lands in your account.
Refunds happen. Holds happen. Delays happen.
So I try not to mentally spend money that isn’t actually mine yet.
The goal is still the same:
Eventually have 100% of my income coming from my online business.
I’m not there yet.
Not even close.
But I’m also not quitting.
📧 Email List Growth (Slowly but Surely)
My email list is now at:
333 confirmed leads
Which I’m honestly pretty happy about.
A good chunk of these came from paid clicks I tested recently.
Now I’ll be honest…
I’m always a little skeptical with cold traffic.
In my experience, organic leads tend to convert better because people actually chose to follow you.
But hey… we test, we learn, we adjust.
That’s the game.
And since my goal is $40,000/month, my list goal is pretty simple:
40,000 leads.
So yeah… only about 39,667 to go 😂
But we’re moving.
One step at a time.
💸 The Two Commissions I Made
This part was actually pretty exciting.
I made two commissions this week.
The first one was around $150 from something I promoted in the past.
And what’s cool is… I didn’t do anything this week to make that happen.
It just came in.
That’s one of those moments where you stop and think:
“Okay… I get why people talk about passive income now.”
The second commission was around $344 from one of my main offers.
And this one came from someone I had been talking to for a while.
Which honestly reinforces something I’m starting to believe more and more:
Maybe the best marketing strategy… is just being a normal human being.
No pressure. No weird tactics.
Just conversations.
Build trust → things happen naturally.
🤖 The AI Videos (Things Got Weird… in a Good Way)
Alright… this is where things got fun.
I recently picked up a program that showed me how to create AI-generated videos with a realistic character.
So naturally… I went a little overboard.
Now I’ve got “Jack” out here:
Singing pop songs
Doing the Spider-Man 3 dance
Just being completely unhinged
And here’s what I’ve noticed:
These videos are getting WAY more attention than my old ones.
Which makes sense.
When people see a face, they connect more.
It feels more real. More human. More trustworthy.
Even if it’s technically AI.
Technology is honestly getting kind of insane…
But I’m here for it.

I’m still working a job.
I’m still figuring things out.
I’m still nowhere near $40K/month.
But…
I’m also making progress.
And more importantly, I finally feel like I’m building something that actually has a path forward.
No hype. No “get rich quick.”
Just testing, learning, improving… every single day.
