Day 48: $1,591.82 Hit My Bank Account… But There’s Something You Should Know
So today is April 2nd, and it’s officially day 48 of my journey to $40,000 per month… and I’m actually off to a pretty strong start.
This morning, I checked my bank account and saw $1,591.82 deposited all at once.
Not a bad way to start the day, right?
But before you get too excited… I’ve gotta be real with you.
That money didn’t come from my online business.
It was my regular biweekly paycheck from my call center job.
And yeah… I know that’s not the exciting “I made money online while I slept” story everyone wants to hear.
But here’s the truth:
That job is still playing a role in my life right now. It’s consistent. It pays well. And honestly, I’m grateful for it.
At the same time though… I don’t want to rely on it forever.
My goal is still the same — build my online income up to the point where I can comfortably walk away and never look back.
And I’m working toward that every single day.
Quick Email List Update
Right now, my email list is sitting at 716 leads, which is actually a slight drop.
I did get some new people joining… but I also had more unsubscribes than usual.
And honestly? I’m completely fine with that.
I’d rather have a smaller list of people who actually open my emails, click my links, and care about what I’m sharing…
…than a big list of people who ignore everything.
Engagement > vanity numbers. Every time.
My First AI-Generated YouTube Review
Now this part is actually pretty interesting.
Today, I published my first AI-generated YouTube video review.
And I’ll be honest… it came out decent.
The AI version of “me” (Jack Miller) is sitting at a desk, talking, moving naturally… it honestly looks pretty realistic at first glance.
But if I’m being picky…
The voice still sounds a little robotic
The transitions could be smoother
And if you pay close attention, you can kind of tell it’s AI
Still though…
The crazy part is this:
I created the entire video from basically ONE prompt.
That blows my mind.
Like seriously… think about where this is going.
If this is what AI can do right now, imagine what it’s going to look like 6 months… or a year from now.
It’s only going to get better.
Will I Keep Using AI for Reviews?
Honestly… I’m still undecided.
Part of me loves the efficiency.
But another part of me feels like when people sense something is AI-generated, it might hurt trust a little bit.
And trust is everything in this space.
Right now, I still think my manually created reviews feel more real, more personal, and more convincing.
So I might stick with those for long-form content…
…and just use AI more for short-form videos instead.
Still experimenting.
Still learning.
Still figuring it out.
Some Movement on Facebook
I also made a call-to-action post on Facebook today…
And I actually got a few people reaching out who seem pretty interested in my main offer.
No sales yet…
…but some of these people seem very close.
So we’ll see what happens over the next couple of days.
Final Thoughts
Overall, I’d say today was a solid day.
Not because of some massive online breakthrough…
…but because progress is still happening.
Little by little, things are moving forward.
And that’s really what this journey is all about.
If You’re Trying to Figure This Out Too…
If you’re anything like me…
maybe you’ve tried different ways to make money online and nothing really stuck.
Or maybe you’re just tired of relying on a job for every dollar you make.
Either way…
I put together a free training that walks you through exactly how I’m approaching this whole “make money online” thing in a simple, beginner-friendly way.
