Day 50: Banned Accounts, Slow Growth… and Why I’m Still Not Worried
So today is April 4th, 2026… and that officially marks day 50 of my journey towards $40,000 per month.
And honestly? Today was one of those “messy but important” days.
Not everything went perfectly… but those are usually the days that matter the most.
Let’s talk about it.
The Numbers (Keeping It Real)
As of today, I’m sitting at $1,591.82 that’s actually hit my bank account so far this month.
Now on the surface, that might sound solid for only being four days into April…
But I want to be completely transparent with you — most of that is still coming from my call center job.
And that’s the part I’m actively working to change.
The goal isn’t just to make money…
It’s to shift where that money comes from.
From trading time for money → to building something that works even when I’m not.
That’s the real mission.
Email List Update (Slow… but Important)
My email list is now at 717 leads.
That means I picked up one new lead today.
And yeah… that might not sound exciting.
But here’s the thing most people don’t realize:
This is how it starts.
Not with huge viral explosions…
But with small, consistent steps that stack over time.
What’s actually encouraging is where that lead came from — it looks like my YouTube channel.
Which tells me something important:
👉 The content is working
👉 People are finding me
👉 The system is slowly doing its job
And if I keep showing up… that “1 lead a day” eventually turns into 5, then 10, then more.
My long-term goal is around 40,000 leads…
So yeah, I’ve got a long way to go.
But I’m not in a rush to skip the process — because this is the part that actually builds something real.
Getting Banned (Again…)
Alright… so here’s the interesting part.
My account on X (Twitter) got banned.
Again.
Apparently, they don’t allow “fake AI personas.”
Which is honestly kind of ironic…
Because I’m not hiding anything.
I’ve been very open about the fact that “Jack Miller” is a brand.
Meanwhile, platforms like Facebook and Instagram don’t seem to have an issue with it.
So it’s a bit confusing.
But here’s the bigger takeaway…
This is exactly why I don’t rely on social media platforms.
At any moment, they can:
Ban your account
Limit your reach
Change the rules
And there’s nothing you can do about it.
That’s why I’m focused on things I actually own:
My email list
My blog
My website
Because no one can just wake up one day and take those away from me.
If anything, this just reinforced that I’m playing the right game.
AI YouTube Videos (This Might Be Big)
Now this is the part I’m actually excited about.
I recently started testing AI-generated YouTube video reviews…
And I’ll be honest — I wasn’t sure how they’d perform.
But looking at the early data in YouTube Studio…
They’re performing about the same as my manually created videos.
Which is a really big deal.
Because if I can create content faster…
Without sacrificing performance…
That changes everything.
Right now, my plan is simple:
👉 Make about 10 AI videos
👉 Look at the data
👉 Decide whether to double down or pivot
If this works…
I might have just unlocked a way to scale my content way faster than before.
Final Thoughts
So yeah…
Today wasn’t perfect.
I got banned from a platform
Growth was slow
Income is still tied to my job
But at the same time…
My content is starting to work
My list is growing (even if slowly)
I’m testing new ways to scale
And that’s really what this journey is about.
Not overnight success…
But building something that actually lasts.
