Day 72 — A Small Win That Meant More Than It Should

So today is Sunday, April 26th, 2026.

Officially Day 72 of my journey towards $40,000/month.

And yeah… I missed yesterday.

Not gonna dress it up—I felt like garbage. Spent most of the day in bed, overslept, and honestly just needed to shut everything off for a bit.

But here’s the interesting part…

Even on a day where I did basically nothing…

I still made money.

Since my last update, I made a $124 sale.

And I’m not gonna lie—that felt really good.

The “Real” Numbers (No Fluff)

As far as money that has actually hit my bank account this month, I’m still sitting at:

$4,880.38

The $124 hasn’t landed yet, so I’m not counting it.

I requested the payout to my PayPal, and it’s currently pending.
If everything goes smoothly, it should show up tomorrow—but we’ll see.

I’m always gonna keep it real with you here.
If the money isn’t in my account yet, it doesn’t count.

The Slow (But Honest) Growth

My email list is currently at 3,667 leads, which is actually down a bit.

Why?

Because I haven’t been running any paid ads lately.

Everything right now is coming from:

• My blog

• My Facebook

• My YouTube

And organically… I’m getting about 1–2 leads per day.

Which is cool.

But also…

Let’s be honest—it feels slow.

Like, painfully slow sometimes.

It’s one of those things where you know it’s working…
but you also know it could be moving way faster.

That’s honestly why I’m excited to get more cash flow coming in again—because I already know what happens when I turn ads back on.

That $124 Sale (And Why It Matters)

This sale didn’t come from some complicated funnel hack or viral video.

It came from a simple email.

That’s it.

I sent an email to my list talking about an offer that teaches people how to build income in a more automated way.

Not the “post 5 times a day” grind.
Not constantly chasing people in DMs.

Just a more hands-off system once it’s set up.

Now I get it… that kind of thing sounds a little crazy at first.

I was skeptical too.

That’s actually why I bought it myself—to see if it was legit or just another overhyped promise.

And after going through it…

I realized it actually does what it says.

So when I shared it with my list, someone decided to check it out for themselves.

And boom—$124.

The Bigger Realization

If I’m being honest…

I used to seriously doubt email marketing.

Like, I didn’t get the hype.

It felt outdated.
Slow.
Kind of boring.

But moments like this?

They change your perspective real quick.

Because this didn’t require:

• Going viral

• Posting all day

• Spending money on ads

It was just…
building a list, sending a message, and letting the system do its thing.

And that’s starting to click for me in a big way.

Final Thought

Even on days where you feel off…

Even when things feel slow…

Progress is still happening behind the scenes.

Sometimes you just don’t see it until something like this pops up.
