Day 73: $810 Day… And Something Even More Interesting Happened
So today is Monday, April 27th, 2026.
Day 73 of this whole “let’s figure out how to hit $40,000/month” journey.
And today was… honestly pretty exciting.
I had two payouts hit my bank account that added up to $810.15, which brings my total for April so far to $5,690.53.
Not gonna lie… seeing that number climb never gets old.
What makes it even better is I already know I’ve got:
A paycheck coming in from my call center job on Thursday
Possibly another commission hitting Wednesday
So realistically, I should clear $6,000 this month pretty comfortably.
That’s a weird sentence to write… but I’m here for it.
Where the money actually came from
What’s interesting is this wasn’t just “one thing.”
Part of that money came from:
Affiliate commissions hitting my PayPal ($111.15)
My federal tax refund ($699.00)
And this is something I’ve been realizing more and more…
There are a LOT of ways to make money if you’re open to it.
When I first started this blog, I thought I’d only talk about money I make online.
But honestly?
That feels kind of… limiting.
My goal is simple:
$40,000 per month. Consistently.
So at the end of the day, I don’t really care how the money comes in.
Online income
Job income
Random payouts
Unexpected wins
It all counts.
Now ideally, yeah… I’d love for the online side to completely replace my job.
That’s still the goal.
But I’m also not blind to the fact that my job gives me stability right now.
And if I’m being real with you…
There’s a tiny part of me that wonders:
“What if I actually like having both?”
(Unlikely… but hey, I’ll keep it honest with you.)
Quick reality check: my email list
So my email list actually dipped slightly today.
I’m sitting at 3,664 leads, which is just a small drop from yesterday.
I know I brought in new people, so it just means more unsubscribes than new leads today.
And honestly?
I’m not stressed about it.
Because here’s what actually matters:
I still have thousands of people reading my emails every day.
That’s more than enough to generate real income consistently.
If anything, it’s just part of the game.
People come in, people leave.
The goal is to keep showing up anyway.
The conversation that might turn into a big win
Now this part got me a little hyped.
I’ve been talking with someone in the DMs for a while now—probably over a month.
She’s been going back and forth between two different programs.
And luckily for me…
I promote both of them.
So I’ve just been helping her think it through, answering questions, giving honest input.
No pressure.
Just real conversations.
Today she told me she’s leaning toward the higher-ticket option (around $1,000).
And yeah… I get 100% commissions on that one.
So naturally, I was like 👀
But here’s the thing I’ve learned after doing this for a while:
Nothing is real until the purchase actually happens.
People can be interested.
They can be excited.
They can say they’re going to buy.
But until they actually pull the trigger… it’s all potential.
Still though, she said she’s planning to move forward soon and just needs to figure out payment.
So I let her know there are payment plan options available if that helps.
Now we wait.
And yeah… I’ll be honest…
Whenever I’m this close to a sale, there’s always that little adrenaline rush.
We’ll see what happens over the next day or two.
Final thoughts
