Day 79: The Bet I’m Willing to Make
So… it’s Sunday, May 3rd, 2026.
Day 79 of this whole “let’s build this thing to $40k/month” journey.
And today felt like one of those quiet-but-important days.
You know the kind—nothing crazy on the surface, but underneath… decisions are being made that could change everything.
Let’s talk about it.
The Current Scoreboard (Keeping It Real)
As of today…
Money deposited this month: $0.00
Yeah… not the most exciting number in the world 😅
But also—it's May 3rd.
This is the part people don’t always talk about. Income online doesn’t show up like a paycheck on Friday. It’s more like… you plant seeds, and then randomly a bunch of them bloom at once.
I know there’s a solid ClickBank commission on the way. I’m expecting it to hit tomorrow.
So right now, it’s less “nothing is happening” and more “the dominoes are about to fall.”
Big difference.
The Email List (Small Dip, Bigger Picture)
My email list is now at 3,809 leads.
Technically… that’s a little down from yesterday.
Unsubscribes.
And honestly? I’m totally fine with that.
Not everyone is meant to stay—and that’s a good thing.
I’d rather have 3,800 people who actually want to be there than 5,000 who ignore everything I send.
Plus, I’ve got more traffic coming in soon with another solo ad… so I’m not even remotely worried about growth.
If anything, it’s just part of the game.
The Real Shift Today (This One Matters)
Today I made a decision.
I’m going back into Facebook ads.
And not just casually testing…
I mean actually leaning into it.
Here’s why.
The “Aha” Moment I Had
Solo ads have been solid.
No complaints there.
But I had this realization…
With solo ads, you’re essentially borrowing someone else’s audience.
These people are already on email lists. They’ve already seen offers. They’ve already been pitched—probably a lot.
So by the time they see me, I’m not their first impression.
I’m just… another voice.
Now compare that to Facebook or Instagram ads.
You’re catching people mid-scroll.
They weren’t looking for an opportunity.
They weren’t expecting anything.
And suddenly… they see something that makes them pause.
That’s powerful.
Because there’s a chance—just a chance—you’re the first person introducing them to this world.
And first impressions matter more than people think.
Why This Gets Me Fired Up
With Facebook ads, I can:
Control exactly how much I spend each day
Scale what’s working (and cut what’s not)
Bring in completely fresh eyes who haven’t been “burned out” yet
It feels like building something from the ground up instead of stepping into a crowded room.
And I don’t know about you…
…but I’d rather be the first person someone hears from than the tenth.
What Happens Next
Today was prep mode.
Writing ad copy. Testing angles. Getting images ready.
If everything lines up (and that commission hits like I expect), I’ll be launching my campaign tomorrow.
And honestly…
I’m excited.
Not in a “this will magically fix everything” kind of way.
But in a “this could open a whole new door” kind of way.
Real Talk For A Second
If you’ve ever looked into making money online and felt overwhelmed…
or like you’re constantly starting over…
or like everyone else somehow knows something you don’t…
I get it.
That’s exactly why I started documenting this journey.
Not to pretend I have everything figured out…
…but to show what it actually looks like while you’re figuring it out.
Wins, losses, random pivots… all of it.
If You Want To Follow The Same Path
If you’re curious how I’m doing all this—building an email list, testing traffic, trying to turn this into something that could replace a 9–5…
I put together a free training that walks through the exact foundation I’m using.
Nothing complicated. No fluff.
Just a simple starting point you can actually follow.
