Day 81: I Said “No Facebook Ads”… Then Ran Facebook Ads Anyway

May 06, 20263 min read

So… today is Monday, May 5th, 2026.

And this is officially Day 81 of my journey to $40,000 per month.

I’ll be honest with you right away…

Today was one of those “yeah… I didn’t stick to the plan” kind of days 😂

Yesterday, I literally said I was going to focus on solo ads and not touch Facebook ads.

And today?

I launched a Facebook ads campaign.

Classic.

But honestly… I think there’s something important in that.

The Reality Behind “Staying Focused”

People love to talk about focus like it’s this perfect, disciplined, robotic thing.

But in real life?

Sometimes you pivot.

Sometimes you test things.

Sometimes you get excited about something new and go for it.

And that’s exactly what happened today.

There’s a software I’ve been using that recently added some new AI features for creating Facebook ads…

And I was curious.

So I checked it out.

And I’m not gonna lie—I was impressed.

It generated two ad creatives for me automatically.

Were they perfect? No.

But they were good enough that I only had to tweak a few small things.

That’s kind of crazy when you think about it.

So I said… alright, let’s test it.

I set up a campaign for $10/day—nothing crazy—and just let it run.

Worst case?

I lose a few bucks and learn something.

Best case?

It becomes another traffic source that helps me grow faster.

And honestly… that’s the mindset I’m trying to stick with now:

Try things. Test things. Keep what works. Drop what doesn’t.

The Numbers (Because I Know You’re Curious)

So here’s where things stand right now for May:

  • Money that’s hit my bank account so far: $980.96

  • Upcoming payout: about $700 (found this sitting in one of my accounts today 👀)

So yeah… that number should be going up very soon.

And that’s always a good feeling.

Not because of the number itself…

But because it’s proof that something is working.

My Email List Is Still Growing (This Part Matters A LOT)

This is the part I get most excited about.

My email list is now at:

3,895 leads

That’s real people.

Real humans.

Who raised their hand and said, “I’m interested in this.”

And that list is growing because of the solo ads I’ve been running…

And now potentially Facebook ads too.

Here’s the thing most people don’t realize at first:

👉 The list is the long game.

Every lead is an opportunity.

Not just today… but tomorrow, next week, next month.

That’s how this turns into something real over time.

Quick Reality Check

I know some people read updates like this and think:

“Must be nice… I wish I could do that.”

But I promise you…

This didn’t start here.

There were a lot of confusing days.

A lot of “why isn’t this working?” moments.

A lot of trial and error.

And honestly… I’m still figuring things out.

Today literally proved that 😂

Where This Is All Going

At the end of the day, I don’t really care how I get there.

Solo ads. Facebook ads. Something else.

As long as it’s ethical, legal, and actually works…

I’m open to it.

Because the goal is simple:

Build enough income to walk away from the 9–5 for good.

And I know a lot of you reading this feel the same way.

If You’re In That Spot Right Now…

If you’ve been thinking about making money online…

But you’re overwhelmed…

Or you don’t know where to start…

Or you’ve tried stuff before and it didn’t work…

I get it.

That’s exactly why I put together a free training.

No hype. No pressure.

Just a simple starting point so you’re not guessing.
