Day 82 – “The Moment It Hits Your Bank Account (It Feels Different)”

So today is Wednesday, May 6th, 2026.

Day 82 of this whole “let’s build this to $40K/month” journey.

And today… something happened that never gets old.

A commission payout hit my bank account.

Not pending.
Not “processing.”
Not “waiting period.”

Actually hit.

And I don’t care how many times this happens… it still gives me that little “okay… this is real” moment every single time.

💰 The Update (The Real Numbers)

So as of today, the total amount that’s actually hit my bank account for May is now:

$1,137.08

That includes a $156.12 payout that came in today.

And if you’ve never done affiliate marketing before, here’s something important that nobody really talks about enough…

Making a sale and getting paid are not the same thing.

There’s a gap.

Refunds can happen.
People can change their minds.
Stuff can fall through.

So when the money finally clears and lands in your account?

That’s when it feels real.

That’s when it stops being “numbers on a screen” and starts feeling like something you can actually build a life around.

📈 The List Keeps Growing (This Is The Game)

My email list is now sitting at:

3,955 leads

And honestly… this is the part I’m the most excited about.

Because the money is great, don’t get me wrong…

But the list?

That’s the asset.

That’s the thing that keeps working for you over time.

Most of these leads are coming from a mix of solo ads and Facebook ads right now.

I literally just started testing Facebook ads recently, so I’m not expecting anything crazy yet…

But I will say this:

Even a small trickle of leads from Facebook has me paying attention.

Because if I can dial that in?

That could get very interesting, very fast.

Solo ads are still doing their thing too… bringing in leads consistently.

The real question (and the part I’m watching closely) is:

👉 Do those leads turn into buyers over time?

📩 Something That Meant More Than The Money

Today I got a reply from someone on my email list.

And I’m not gonna lie… this one stuck with me.

He told me he’s been reading these blog posts and actually enjoying them.

And that he appreciates how I’m just documenting everything honestly instead of trying to hype everything up.

That hit me.

Because if I’m being real with you…

Most of the time I’m just sitting here writing these, not even knowing if anyone’s actually reading them.

There’s no comments section.
No likes.
No obvious feedback loop.

It kind of feels like talking into the void sometimes.

So getting a message like that?

It reminds me there are real people on the other side of this.

People paying attention.

People thinking, “Wait… maybe I can do this too.”

He even said he’s saving up to get started with one of the programs I recommend.

Which is crazy to think about.

Because I remember being the one watching from the sidelines, wondering if any of this was legit.

So yeah…

Safe to say I’m gonna keep this blog going.

Also… small correction from yesterday…

I said it was Monday.

It was definitely Tuesday.

Time is getting weird lately 😂
