Day 92 Of My Journey To $40,000 Per Month – I Bought Another Program…

May 17, 20265 min read

So today is Saturday, May 16th, 2026 and officially day 92 of my journey to $40,000 per month online.

And yes…

I bought another program.

I know. I know.

The funny thing is that the past few days I’ve literally been sitting here telling myself to stay focused, stop getting distracted and avoid shiny object syndrome.

Then somehow I still ended up pulling out my card and buying something for $997 anyway.

Classic entrepreneur behavior.

But honestly, I think this one could potentially become one of the biggest traffic shifts I’ve made so far. So let’s talk about it.

The Numbers So Far

As of today, the amount of money that has actually hit my bank account for the month of May is sitting at $3,663.56.

Honestly, not bad at all considering we’re only around the middle of the month right now.

I also have a few commissions currently sitting in holding periods waiting to clear, so assuming everything sticks, those should start rolling in over the next several days too.

I’m definitely feeling optimistic about finishing May strong.

One thing I’ve noticed about this whole online business journey is that momentum feels weird sometimes.

Some days feel slow and quiet.

Then suddenly things start stacking on top of each other out of nowhere.

That’s honestly what this month feels like right now.

And I’m not complaining.

Crossing 4,000 Leads

My email list officially crossed 4,083 leads.

That honestly feels kind of surreal to type.

When I first started trying to make money online, even getting 10 people onto an email list felt impossible.

I remember refreshing dashboards nonstop hoping somebody would opt in.

Now I’m sitting here with over 4,000 leads.

That doesn’t mean I’ve “made it” or anything, but it DOES remind me that consistency compounds over time.

A lot of these new leads came from a solo ad order that’s currently being delivered, plus I also transferred some leads from my secondary autoresponder into my main one today.

I spent part of the day messing around with Zapier too trying to automate the whole process better.

Not gonna lie… automation stuff can make me feel like a caveman sometimes.

You ever open up a software dashboard and immediately feel your IQ dropping?

That was basically me today.

I haven’t fully figured everything out yet, but I’m getting closer.

And honestly, that’s kind of what this whole business journey feels like most of the time.

You try stuff.

You break stuff.

You get frustrated.

Then eventually something clicks.

The $997 Program I Bought

Now let’s talk about the new program because this part actually has me pretty excited.

The main reason I bought it is because the traffic strategy inside of it seems really interesting to me.

Basically the strategy uses AI tools to automatically find keyword phrases people are searching on Google and then generate blog articles around those keywords.

So hypothetically, somebody searches things like:

“How do I make money online?”

“How can I escape my 9-to-5?”

“Best online business for beginners?”

Then one of my articles could potentially show up in Google… or even inside AI tools like ChatGPT.

That’s the part that really grabbed my attention.

The internet is changing FAST right now.

People aren’t just searching on Google anymore.

A lot of people are starting to ask AI tools questions directly.

So if articles can start getting visibility there too?

That’s a huge opportunity.

The basic idea is that somebody finds one of my articles, reads it, connects with it, then sees a banner or opt-in page on my website for one of my offers or my free training.

Then from there they either join my email list or potentially buy something.

And honestly, the reason this strategy appealed to me so much is because it feels very similar to what I’m already doing with YouTube.

At the end of the day, both strategies are basically built around ranking for things people are already searching for.

The difference is…

YouTube can be a LOT of work sometimes.

And I say that as somebody who genuinely likes YouTube.

Even with AI helping out, making videos that actually feel presentable to the public can still take a ton of time and energy.

Editing.

Voiceovers.

B-roll.

Thumbnails.

Titles.

Descriptions.

Uploading.

Fixing mistakes.

Rendering issues.

Random tech problems.

Sometimes it feels like you spend 3 hours fixing one tiny thing nobody will even notice.

So when I saw a strategy that potentially automates a huge chunk of the process using AI?

Yeah… my attention was definitely grabbed.

Why This Strategy Excites Me

Now obviously I’m not expecting overnight magic results.

I’ve been around this industry long enough to know that every opportunity looks exciting on the sales page.

Realistically, I’ll probably need time to learn it properly, test things and see if it actually works in the real world.

But if this strategy DOES work?

It could potentially become a really powerful long-term traffic source.

And honestly, the idea of waking up to leads and traffic coming in from articles running in the background sounds pretty amazing.

That’s one thing I’ve become more and more obsessed with lately:

Building systems.

Not just chasing random commissions.

Systems that continue working even when you’re tired, burned out, busy or sleeping.

Because honestly…

Freedom isn’t just about making money.

Freedom is about creating leverage.

And that’s something I’ve been thinking about a lot lately.

Final Thoughts

Anyway, that about wraps up day 92.

Overall I’m feeling excited, optimistic and honestly pretty grateful right now.

Things aren’t perfect yet.

I’m still figuring things out.

I still overthink things sometimes.

I still get distracted sometimes.

And yes… I still occasionally buy shiny objects sometimes.

But compared to where I used to be mentally and financially?

I’m definitely moving in the right direction.

And that feels really good.
