My Journey to $40,000 Per Month Online – Day 109 (I Finally Joined the Rank & Rent Program)
June 2, 2026
Welcome to Day 109 of my journey towards $40,000 per month online.
Today was a pretty exciting day because I finally did something I've been talking about for the past several days.
I joined the Rank & Rent program.
But before we get into that, let's take a quick look at the numbers.
Income Update
As of today, I've had $248.96 hit my bank account for the month of June.
Not bad considering it's only the 2nd day of the month.
Would I love for that number to be higher? Absolutely.
But one thing I've learned over the past couple of years is that online income isn't always linear. Some days feel slow. Some days surprise you. The important thing is to keep building assets that can generate income tomorrow, next month, and hopefully years from now.
That's really what this entire journey is about.
Not just making money.
Building freedom.
Email List Update
My email list is currently sitting at 3,837 leads.
That's down a little from where it was previously.
Honestly, I'm not too surprised.
As I've mentioned in recent updates, I'm planning to shift a significant amount of my focus away from traditional affiliate marketing and email marketing and more towards Rank & Rent.
Now don't get me wrong.
I still believe email marketing is incredibly powerful. Building an audience that you own is one of the smartest things you can do online.
But I'm also at a point where I'm looking for additional income streams.
Especially recurring income streams.
The idea of helping local businesses generate leads and then collecting recurring monthly payments is very appealing to me.
So naturally, that's where a lot of my attention is starting to go.
I Finally Joined
So here's what happened.
Earlier today, I got on a one-on-one call with the creator of the Rank & Rent program I've been talking about.
We spent some time discussing the business model, the opportunities, the challenges, and his experience helping students build local lead generation websites.
The conversation went really well.
He was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely seemed to know what he was talking about.
The more we talked, the more it felt like something I needed to try.
Eventually I made the decision and joined.
I'm doing it on a $500 per month payment plan for 7 months.
Would I have preferred to pay in full?
Definitely.
But sometimes you have to make decisions based on where you are today, not where you wish you were.
Right now, paying in full simply isn't realistic for me.
What is realistic is making a commitment and taking action.
So that's what I did.
Why I'm Excited About This
If you've followed my journey for any amount of time, you already know something about me.
I'm obsessed with the idea of recurring income.
Not because I want fancy cars.
Not because I want to impress people.
Not because I want to post screenshots on social media.
I want freedom.
I want options.
I want the ability to wake up and know that income is coming in because I built something valuable, not because I clocked into a shift.
Affiliate marketing has helped me tremendously.
It's literally changed my life.
But recurring income has always been something I've wanted more of.
Rank & Rent seems like it could potentially help fill that gap.
Now, does that mean it's guaranteed to work?
Of course not.
Nothing in business is guaranteed.
There are people who buy programs and never take action.
There are people who take action but quit too early.
There are people who work hard and still need time before results show up.
I'm fully aware of all of that.
But I also know one thing:
If I never try, I'll never know.
And I'd rather take a shot than spend the next 10 years wondering what would've happened if I had started.
The Plan
The good news is that my overnight call center job is usually pretty quiet.
That means I should have opportunities during slower periods to start working through the training.
From what I've seen so far, there are a lot of videos to go through.
So my immediate goal is simple:
Learn the system.
Understand the process.
Take action consistently.
And then document everything here on the blog so you can follow along with me.
The wins.
The mistakes.
The frustrations.
The successes.
The whole journey.
Can I Reach $40,000 Per Month This Year?
Honestly?
I don't know.
Maybe.
Maybe not.
It's a pretty ambitious goal.
But then again, most worthwhile goals are.
There was a time when making my first commission online felt impossible.
There was a time when earning enough online income to leave my call center job seemed impossible.
And yet both of those things happened.
So who knows?
Maybe this new chapter ends up being a huge breakthrough.
Maybe it ends up teaching me lessons that help me get there another way.
Either way, I'm excited to find out.
For now, I'm staying focused on the next step in front of me.
Learn.
Implement.
Improve.
Repeat.
Final Thoughts
Day 109 feels like the start of a brand-new chapter.
I'm nervous.
I'm excited.
I'm hopeful.
And most importantly, I'm taking action.
We'll see where this road leads.
If you've ever been thinking about starting something new, changing directions, or taking a chance on yourself, maybe this is your sign to stop overthinking and start moving.
You don't need perfect timing.
You don't need perfect conditions.
You just need to start.
