Journey to $40,000/Month – Day 110 (June 3, 2026)

June 04, 20265 min read

Today is Wednesday, June 3, 2026, and officially Day 110 of my journey towards $40,000 per month.

Today was one of those days where I felt like I was standing at a crossroads.

On one side was a strategy I decided to walk away from.

On the other side was a brand-new opportunity that has me feeling genuinely excited about the future.

Let's talk about it.

June Income Update

First, let's look at the numbers.

So far in June, I've had $248.96 hit my bank account.

Considering we're only a few days into the month, I'm pretty happy with that.

Of course, I'd love for that number to be much higher, but every month starts somewhere. The goal is simple: keep stacking wins, keep moving forward, and let the numbers grow over time.

That's how this entire journey has worked so far.

Small steps.

Small wins.

Lots of consistency.

And eventually those small wins start becoming bigger ones.

Email List Update

My email list is currently sitting at 3,835 leads.

That's actually a small decrease from yesterday.

Not a huge drop, but enough to notice.

Honestly, I expect that trend to continue over time.

The reason is pretty simple.

For the last couple of years, email marketing and affiliate marketing have been my primary focus. Going forward, I'm planning to spend a lot more of my time learning and implementing Rank & Rent.

That doesn't mean I'm abandoning email marketing completely.

Far from it.

Email marketing has changed my life and helped me generate tens of thousands of dollars online.

But I do think it's important to explore additional income streams, especially ones that can potentially produce recurring monthly revenue.

That's one of the biggest reasons Rank & Rent caught my attention in the first place.

Diving Into Rank & Rent Training

Today, while I was at work, I spent some time going through the training videos inside the Rank & Rent program I joined yesterday.

The first couple of videos focused mostly on mindset and student success stories.

Now, I'll be honest.

Whenever I see testimonials, I try to keep my expectations realistic.

Everyone's situation is different.

Everyone gets different results.

But there was one thing that stood out to me.

A lot of the successful students were saying the exact same thing.

They wished they had built more websites sooner.

Many of them started with only 2 or 3 sites.

Later, once they started seeing results, they realized they should have built 10, 20, or even more.

That was a pretty interesting pattern.

So I made a mental note.

If I decide to fully commit to this business model, I don't want to move at a snail's pace.

I want to move fast.

I want to build momentum.

I want to give myself as many opportunities to succeed as possible.

One of the students featured in the training was making somewhere around $10,000 to $15,000 per month.

Again, results aren't guaranteed.

But seeing examples like that definitely gets the imagination going.

For a lot of people, that kind of income could completely change their lives.

Pay off debt.

Reduce financial stress.

Spend more time with family.

Travel.

Or simply stop feeling trapped in a job they hate.

That's the part that motivates me.

Not fancy cars.

Not showing off.

Freedom.

That's always been the goal.

Why I Asked For A Refund

The other major thing that happened today was that I officially requested a refund for the AI blogging program I bought back in May.

Honestly, I wrestled with this decision for a while.

I really wanted it to work.

The concept sounded amazing.

Create AI-generated blog content.

Publish articles automatically.

Get traffic from Google.

Generate leads.

Simple, right?

Unfortunately, my actual experience was pretty disappointing.

According to the platform, my website received over 8,000 visitors.

That's not nothing.

That's a decent amount of traffic.

But do you know how many people opted into my free training?

Zero.

Not 1.

Not 2.

Not even a single lead.

Now, maybe there are ways I could have improved the funnel.

Maybe there are things I could have optimized.

But when I looked at the results I was getting versus the amount of frustration I was experiencing, the decision became pretty obvious.

The customer support didn't help either.

Most of my questions took around 3 to 4 days to receive a response.

When you're trying to build a business, waiting several days every time you run into a problem can feel incredibly frustrating.

Eventually I asked myself a simple question:

"If I had my $997 back right now, would I buy this program again?"

My answer was no.

And whenever the answer is no, it's usually a sign.

So I requested the refund.

No hard feelings.

I just think that money can be deployed somewhere else that gives me a better chance of moving closer to my goals.

Final Thoughts

One thing I've learned over the years is that quitting isn't always a bad thing.

Sometimes quitting the wrong thing is exactly what allows you to find the right thing.

The key is not quitting on your goals.

The key is being willing to adjust your strategy when something isn't producing the results you hoped for.

That's exactly what I'm doing right now.

Will Rank & Rent become the next big chapter in my journey?

Honestly, I don't know yet.

It's way too early to tell.

But I'm excited to find out.

And as always, I'll keep documenting everything—the wins, the mistakes, the frustrations, and the successes—right here.

Because if you're trying to build a better life too, I want you to see what the journey actually looks like.

Not the highlight reel.

The real thing.
