Monday, August 17, 2026 — Day 15 of my journey to $10,000/month with Traffic Ignition

Today’s update is probably going to be a little shorter than some of the others.

Not because I’m giving up.

Not because anything went horribly wrong.

I’m just still sick. 😂

The coughing, mucus and runny nose have decided they’re apparently not finished with me yet.

Being sick sucks, but hey… that’s life.

And if I’m going to document this journey honestly, I think that means showing up for the boring days, the sick days and the days where absolutely nothing earth-shattering happens too.

So here I am.

Day 15. Still going.

And while there hasn’t been a massive breakthrough since yesterday, there are a few things happening behind the scenes that I’m pretty excited about.

📊 Where I’m At Right Now

Here are my current Traffic Ignition numbers:

👥 Members recruited: 4
💰 Potential monthly recurring commissions: $20
⏳ Pro upgrade commissions: About 2 currently pending
🎯 Next goal: Fill that fifth spot directly underneath me

So for the moment, I’m still sitting at four members.

I’ve had a few more potential leads check out Traffic Ignition, but nobody has grabbed that special fifth spot directly underneath me yet.

And yes...

I really want to see that fifth spot fill. 😂

There’s something psychologically satisfying about getting those first five positions filled.

It feels like completing the first little chapter of this experiment.

I’m hoping it happens tomorrow.

Maybe the day after.

Maybe it takes longer.

I genuinely don’t know.

And that uncertainty is part of why I started documenting this journey in the first place.

👀 Someone Told Me She Plans to Join

There is one thing giving me a little extra reason to be excited.

Someone on my email list who has been talking with me told me she intends to make a purchase soon.

Obviously, I’m not counting anything until it actually happens.

Intentions aren’t commissions.

But it’s still encouraging.

It means people are reading.

People are clicking.

People are checking Traffic Ignition out.

And at least one person is seriously considering taking that next step.

If she does join, I’ll obviously let you know what happens in one of these updates.

For now?

We wait.

💵 Friday Could Be a Pretty Cool Milestone

Something else I’m watching closely is my pending commissions.

I currently have about two Pro upgrade commissions sitting in pending, and assuming everything clears as expected, those should be released to me on Friday, August 21.

Why does that matter so much?

Because those should be the first Traffic Ignition commissions to actually reach my bank account.

That might not sound like some gigantic accomplishment.

We’re not talking about thousands of dollars here.

But I think the first payment from anything online feels different.

There’s a huge psychological difference between:

“This could potentially make money.”

and...

“Money from this actually landed in my account.”

That’s why I’m excited for Friday.

If everything goes according to plan and those commissions are released, that’s another little milestone I’ll be able to check off.

Four members.

$20 in potential monthly recurring commissions.

Pending Pro commissions.

And hopefully soon...

My first actual Traffic Ignition payout.

Not bad for Day 15.

🤒 The Hardest Part Right Now Is Just Staying Consistent

The funny thing is that my biggest challenge today has almost nothing to do with Traffic Ignition itself.

It’s consistency.

I want to keep publishing these updates as close to daily as I realistically can.

There are a bunch of reasons for that.

Every blog post becomes another piece of content someone could discover.

It gives new leads a chance to see what I’m actually doing.

It gives existing leads something to follow.

And maybe most importantly, it allows you to see this journey while it’s happening instead of me showing up six months from now and telling you some perfectly packaged success story where all the messy parts have conveniently disappeared.

I don't want to do that.

I want you to see the $0 days.

I want you to see the first $20.

I want you to see me waiting for commissions to clear.

I want you to see me obsessing over getting member number five. 😂

And if I eventually reach $100/month, $1,000/month, $5,000/month or even my ultimate $10,000/month goal, you’ll be able to go back and see exactly where it started.

Four members and twenty bucks in potential monthly recurring commissions.

That sounds a lot more interesting to me than pretending I started at the finish line.

Just four members, $20 in potential monthly recurring commissions, a couple of pending commissions, some interested leads...

…and one sick guy sitting at his computer trying to make sure he gets his daily blog post published.

And you know what?

I’m pretty happy with that.

Because it means I'm still moving.

Tomorrow is Day 16.

Let’s see what happens.
