Day 4: My First Traffic Ignition Member! (And a Surprise Job Offer)
Published: Thursday, August 6, 2026
Well... today turned out to be a pretty awesome day.
Today is officially Day 4 of my journey to $10,000 per month with Traffic Ignition, and for the first time since I started this challenge, I have some real progress to share.
I got my first member!
It might not sound like much to someone looking from the outside, but to me, it's a huge milestone.
Every journey has a beginning, and this is mine.
The person who joined is actually someone who's been on my email list for quite a while. She's purchased other programs through me before, she's incredibly nice, and I'm genuinely excited to work with her. I always take it seriously when someone trusts me enough to join something I recommend, so I'm going to do everything I can to help both of us succeed.
It's only one person...
But every business starts with one customer.
Every YouTube channel starts with one subscriber.
Every email list starts with one lead.
Every successful entrepreneur had a first sale.
Today was mine.
The Snowball Effect
One thing I've noticed over the years is something kind of funny.
Getting the first sale always seems to be the hardest.
For whatever reason, once that first sale comes in, things tend to build momentum. I don't know if it's because I become more confident, because I have proof that people are interested, or because I simply work harder after seeing results.
Whatever the reason...
I've seen that pattern enough times that I'm excited to see if it happens again here.
It also makes creating these blog posts and YouTube videos a lot more fun because now I'm documenting a real journey instead of just talking about possibilities.
My Current Scoreboard
Here's where things stand today:
Day: 4
Personally enrolled members: 1
Estimated recurring matrix commission from that member: $5/month*
Current mission: Keep building.
It's a tiny beginning...
...but every big number starts as a small one.
One thing that really excites me about Traffic Ignition is the long-term potential of building recurring income over time. The compensation plan includes a 5×5 forced matrix, which means there are up to 3,905 positions in a completed matrix.
If I ever reached that point—and that's obviously a very big goal—the recurring commissions from the matrix alone could be substantial. On top of that, there are other commission opportunities available within the platform.
Am I there today?
Not even close.
I'm sitting at one member.
But I'd rather celebrate the first step than complain that I'm not already at the finish line.
Plot Twist... I Got a Second Full-Time Job
As if getting my first member wasn't enough...
This morning I also had an interview for another call center position.
I went in, answered their questions, talked about my work experience, what I was looking for, and honestly just tried to be myself.
When I left, I thought...
"I think that went pretty well."
But you never really know.
About ten minutes later, my phone rang.
It was the interviewer.
They offered me the job on the spot.
I won't lie...
That felt pretty good.
I spend a lot of my professional life talking to people, helping people, and communicating clearly. Moments like this make me feel like that's one of my strengths.
So now...
I'll officially have two full-time jobs.
Is it going to be a lot of work?
Absolutely.
But it's all part of a bigger plan.
Playing the Long Game
My goal isn't to work two full-time jobs forever.
The goal is to use that income strategically.
Some of it will go toward paying off debt.
Some of it will go toward investing in my business.
And some of it will likely be used for paid advertising to grow my Traffic Ignition business faster.
I'm trying to think several moves ahead instead of only focusing on today.
It's not always glamorous.
Sometimes building the life you want means making sacrifices now so you have more freedom later.
That's the season I'm in.
A New Apartment Too
There's another exciting change happening.
I'll also be moving into a new apartment toward the end of August.
New job.
New apartment.
First Traffic Ignition member.
Not bad for four days.
It honestly feels like life is starting to pick up momentum, and I'm excited to document every step of this journey—the wins, the setbacks, the lessons, and hopefully plenty more milestones to come.
