Day 41: Five Members, $67.05 Earned & Way Too Many Cheeseburgers
My Journey to $10,000/Month With Traffic Ignition — Day 41
Today is Saturday, September 12, 2026, which officially makes this Day 41 of my journey to $10,000 per month with Traffic Ignition.
And yes… I disappeared for a couple of days. 😂
Sorry about that.
I've been busy working my two full-time jobs, trying to make progress financially, and—perhaps most importantly—fighting a newly acquired addiction to fast food.
There have been a lot of Five Guys cheeseburgers and Chipotle burritos in my life lately.
My taste buds are thrilled.
My waistline is not.
But I'm back, so let's get into the numbers and talk about where things currently stand.
📊 Where I'm At on Day 41
At the time I'm writing this update, my Traffic Ignition numbers look like this:
Members recruited: 5
Money actually received so far: $67.05
Is $67.05 going to let me quit my jobs and ride off into the sunset?
Absolutely not. 😂
But you have to start somewhere.
And I think it's important that I document the small numbers just as openly as I hope to document the big numbers later.
It's easy to show up once you've already succeeded and say:
"Look how much money I'm making!"
I think it's a lot more interesting to show you what happened before that.
The five members.
The first $20.
The first $67.05.
The boring days.
The days where seemingly nothing happens.
And hopefully, eventually, the breakthrough.
That's the entire point of this blog series.
I'm not writing this journey from the finish line.
I'm writing it while I'm still running the race.
💰 I Think More Commissions Are Coming Soon
From what I can currently see, I believe I should have additional Traffic Ignition commissions coming my way over the next week or two.
Obviously, I'm not counting that money until it actually arrives.
But if everything goes the way I'm hoping, these updates should start getting a little more exciting.
My running total of money actually received from Traffic Ignition currently sits at:
$67.05
That's the number I'm comfortable putting my name behind today.
My goal?
$10,000 per month.
So yeah… I've got some work to do. 😂
But that's what makes this fun.
👔 So… How Is Working Two Full-Time Jobs Going?
Surprisingly?
Pretty good.
For anyone who hasn't been following along, I'm currently working two full-time jobs while trying to grow my online business.
And having two paychecks coming in has helped me tremendously.
I've been able to start paying down old debts—both money I owe to people I personally know and credit-card debt I've accumulated.
That's a good feeling.
My newer second full-time job is also pretty easy so far.
Is it exciting?
Nope.
It's actually pretty boring.
But it's tolerable.
And honestly, "tolerable" might be one of the greatest compliments I can give a job. 😂
I can do the work. I get paid. I go home.
For now, that works.
But it doesn't change the bigger goal.
🚪 I Don't Want Two Jobs Forever
Working two jobs is a means to an end.
I don't want my long-term strategy to be:
"Just work more hours."
I want to build income that gives me more control over my time.
That's a huge part of why I'm so motivated to see what I can do with Traffic Ignition.
The first milestone I'd love to reach is enough recurring online income that I could comfortably say goodbye to my second job.
And after that?
I'd love to reach the point where both jobs become optional.
That's the dream.
I'm not there yet.
Not even close.
But every member, every commission and every lesson gets me a little closer.
🍔 Unfortunately, I Have Another Enemy…
It's called Five Guys.
And Chipotle.
And chocolate milkshakes.
Good grief, chocolate milkshakes.
One of the biggest things I need to get under control right now isn't some complicated business problem.
It's this:
STOP SPENDING MONEY ON STUPID STUFF, JACK.
😂
It's amazing how easy it is to tell yourself:
"Eh, it's only $15."
Then you do it again.
And again.
And suddenly you've spent a ridiculous amount of money on cheeseburgers, burritos and milkshakes.
Meanwhile, I'm trying to:
Pay off debt.
Build savings.
Invest in my business.
Buy paid traffic.
And eventually escape the two-job grind.
When I put it like that, the choice seems obvious.
But then somebody puts a cheeseburger in front of me and suddenly my long-term financial strategy goes out the window.
So that's another part of the journey.
I need to become more disciplined with the money I'm making from these two jobs so I can put more of it toward the things that actually move me forward.
Because I'd much rather buy traffic that could potentially grow my business than spend that same money on my fourth cheeseburger of the week.
…
Probably.
🔥 Where I'm Going From Here
The plan hasn't changed.
I'm going to keep documenting this experiment.
I'm going to keep working.
I'm going to keep trying to recruit new members.
I'm going to experiment with paid traffic.
I'm going to keep sharing the numbers with you.
And I'm going to see how far I can take this thing.
Right now:
5 members.
$67.05 received.
$10,000/month goal.
There's a pretty massive gap between those numbers.
Good.
That means we've got a story to tell.
And if this works the way I hope it does, you'll be able to go back through these posts someday and see exactly what the journey looked like before the bigger results showed up.
