Day 5: Two Sales Almost Back-to-Back… Traffic Ignition Is Getting Interesting
Friday, August 7, 2026 — Day 5 of my journey to $10,000/month with Traffic Ignition
Okay… now we’re getting somewhere.
Today is officially Day 5 of my journey to $10,000 per month with Traffic Ignition, and I have some pretty exciting news:
I made my second AND third sales today.
And they happened almost back-to-back.
One came from talking to a good friend of mine over the phone. The other came from an affiliate marketing friend I was chatting with on Facebook.
Three members probably isn't going to make anybody fall out of their chair.
But you know what?
I'm proud of it.
Because five days ago, I had zero.
Now I have three.
And today reminded me of something I've learned over and over again during my online business journey:
The sales are out there if you're willing to put yourself out there.
You can build websites.
You can write emails.
You can make YouTube videos.
You can post on social media.
You can talk to people you already know.
There isn't just one magical way to make this work.
Sometimes you simply have to start conversations and let people know what you're doing.
And today, that worked.
One of My New Members Even Upgraded
Here's another cool part.
One of the people who joined upgraded to Pro, which earned me an additional one-time $40 commission.
Considering the Traffic Ignition membership I'm promoting costs me $49 per month, I'm already getting pretty darn close to having Traffic Ignition effectively pay for itself this month.
I'll take it. 😂
And with three people now in my organization, my potential recurring matrix commissions from those three positions would be $15 per month if all three remain active and commission-qualified under Traffic Ignition's compensation plan.
Is $15/month life-changing money?
Obviously not.
But that's not really what has me excited.
It's what those first three people represent.
I Think This Could Be the Beginning of Something Beautiful
I've been doing affiliate marketing long enough to notice something about myself.
Getting the first few sales is usually the hardest part.
Once I start getting results, something changes.
I get more confident.
I have more to talk about.
I create better content because I'm documenting something that's actually happening instead of just talking about what might happen.
And sometimes that starts creating a snowball effect.
More results → more content → more confidence → more people discovering what I'm doing → potentially more sales.
That's what I'm hoping happens here.
And honestly?
These first few sales make this journey WAY more fun to document.
It's one thing for me to write:
"Hey guys, I joined this new program and I think it has potential."
It's another thing entirely to say:
"Hey guys, it's Day 5 and three people have already joined me."
Now we actually have a story developing.
And I'm excited to see where it goes.
3 Down… Potentially Thousands to Go
One of the things that originally caught my attention about Traffic Ignition was its 5×5 forced-matrix structure.
The matrix can contain up to 3,905 positions across five levels beneath a position.
Right now?
I've got three.
😂
So yeah… I have a little ways to go.
But that's also part of what makes this fun.
If you do the purely hypothetical math of 3,905 active positions × $5 per position per month, you get $19,525 per month.
Now before anybody starts mentally shopping for Lamborghinis, that's math — not an earnings prediction.
There is absolutely no guarantee that I, you, or anybody else will ever fill an entire matrix, maintain 3,905 active commissionable positions, or earn anything close to $19,525 per month.
I certainly haven't.
I'm sitting at three people right now.
That's reality.
But am I allowed to look at the theoretical upside and get a little excited?
Absolutely.
Because the thought of building something capable of generating substantial recurring income is exactly why I'm doing this experiment in the first place.
And the matrix commissions aren't necessarily the only potential source of commissions within Traffic Ignition. Depending on qualifying activity and purchases, there are other commission opportunities associated with the program as well.
So yes…
I'm pretty excited to see what happens.
So How Am I Planning to Get More Sign-Ups?
For starters:
More blog posts like this one.
I'm going to keep documenting the journey whether I have an amazing day, a boring day or a day where absolutely nothing happens.
I don't want this series to become one of those:
"I discovered the secret to getting rich!!!"
blogs where you only hear about the victories.
I want you to see what I'm actually doing.
The good days.
The slow days.
The experiments.
The sales.
The mistakes.
The money.
Everything.
But I'm also planning something else…
I'm Starting a Traffic Ignition YouTube Series
This is something I'm especially excited about.
I want to create a YouTube series documenting my Traffic Ignition journey alongside these blog posts.
But I think I'm going to measure the YouTube series a little differently.
Instead of constantly trying to calculate pending commissions, approved commissions, refunds and everything else that can make affiliate dashboards confusing, I'm thinking about tracking one ridiculously simple number:
How much money has actually reached my bank account?
That's it.
Money that actually gets paid to me.
I think that's one of the cleanest and most transparent ways I can document this.
If $50 reaches my bank account?
I'll tell you $50.
If $500 reaches my bank account?
I'll tell you $500.
If I have a month where barely anything happens?
Well…
I guess we're going to have a pretty boring episode. 😂
But that's the point.
I want this journey to show what actually happens when somebody tries to build this thing from the ground up.
