Day 6: My Fourth Traffic Ignition Signup… and Some Unexpected Facebook Drama

August 08, 202610 min read

Today is Saturday, August 8th, 2026, which officially makes this Day 6 of my journey to $10,000 per month with Traffic Ignition.

And today I have some good news and some bad news.

The good news: Almost immediately after publishing yesterday’s update, I got my fourth Traffic Ignition signup! 🎉

The bad news: One of my longtime affiliate marketing friends got upset with me after I showed her Traffic Ignition, and somehow the whole thing turned into Facebook drama.

So yeah…

Making money online has its ups and downs. 😂

But we carry on.

Let’s get into Day 6.

Signup #4 Is Official! 🚀

First, let’s start with the fun stuff.

My total number of Traffic Ignition members is officially up to:

4 members

And based on my current members, my potential monthly recurring matrix commissions have climbed to:

$20/month

Is $20/month going to change my life?

Obviously not.

But that’s not really why I’m excited about it.

I’m excited because it’s proof of movement.

Six days ago, I was sitting at zero.

Now I have four people in my organization, I’ve earned additional commissions along the way, and I’m only one person away from my first five members.

That’s a small start.

But I’m proud of it.

And maybe I’m being overly optimistic here, but I really do feel like this could be the start of something beautiful.

I’ve experienced this before with other programs I’ve promoted.

Getting those first few sales can be the hardest part. Then something starts clicking. You learn what people respond to. You create more content. Your confidence goes up. You get more testimonials and personal results to talk about.

And sometimes…

Things start snowballing.

That’s what I’m hoping happens here.

Plus, getting actual results makes these blog posts and my YouTube videos WAY more fun to create.

Nobody wants to read:

"Day 47: Still nothing happened. See you tomorrow." 😂

I want to document the wins, the losses, the weird moments, the mistakes, the surprises and everything else that happens while I chase this goal.

And today?

We got another win.

Okay… But What If This Thing REALLY Grows?

This is the part where my imagination starts getting a little carried away.

Traffic Ignition uses a 5×5 matrix, which means a completely filled five-level matrix would contain 3,905 positions.

I currently have four.

So…

4 / 3,905

I have a little ways to go. 😂

But I can't help thinking about the possibilities.

If someone hypothetically had all 3,905 positions filled with active members generating $5 in monthly matrix commissions per position, that would work out to:

$19,525 per month.

Nearly twenty grand a month.

Yeah.

I'm drooling a little just typing that. 😂

And Traffic Ignition has other potential commission sources beyond those monthly matrix commissions, including commissions connected to qualifying purchases within the platform.

Does that mean I'm going to fill all 3,905 positions?

Absolutely not.

I have no idea how far I'll get.

I'm sitting at FOUR right now, people. 😂

There are no guarantees here, and I don't want anyone reading this blog to interpret a mathematical maximum as an earnings prediction.

But I think it's fun to dream.

And right now my goal isn't even $19,525 per month.

My goal is $10,000 per month.

That's the mountain I'm trying to climb.

And instead of showing you a screenshot from the top of the mountain someday and pretending it was easy, I want to document what happens while I'm still standing at the bottom looking up.

Today I'm at four members.

Let's see where this goes.

Where Did My Fourth Signup Come From?

This part was especially encouraging.

My previous signup involved somebody I had actually been talking to through DMs.

This one?

He came from my email list.

EMAIL MARKETING IS NOT DEAD, PEOPLE! 😂

Someone on my list saw what I was doing, decided Traffic Ignition was something he wanted to try and signed up.

Even better?

He purchased the upgrades too, which resulted in some additional commissions for me.

That's exciting for another reason.

I'm a huge believer in building an audience and an email list because I don't want my entire business to depend on chasing people around the internet and individually convincing them to buy something.

I'd much rather create content, provide value, share what I'm doing, send emails and let interested people come to me.

This signup was a little glimpse of exactly that.

And now I'm sitting at four.

Just ONE more person until I've personally brought in my first five.

Who's #5 going to be? 👀

And Then… The Facebook Drama 😬

Okay.

Now for the less-fun part of Day 6.

One of my longtime affiliate marketing friends and I had a falling out.

And I'm genuinely pretty bummed about this one.

I considered her a real friend.

We've bought products from each other. We've talked about affiliate marketing. We'd chitchat about our personal lives. She'd pitched me opportunities before, including an MLM she was involved with.

I even attended a couple of Zoom meetings about her opportunity despite ultimately deciding it wasn't for me.

No hard feelings.

That's business.

So naturally, when I got excited about Traffic Ignition, I thought:

"Hey, maybe she'd like this too."

Especially because I genuinely thought it could potentially help her.

I wasn't trying to insult her.

I wasn't trying to trick her.

I wasn't thinking, "How can I extract $49 from this person?"

I thought I was showing a friend something she might actually be interested in.

At first she said she'd join.

Then she changed her mind.

Then she said she'd join again.

Then she changed her mind again.

From my perspective, she seemed like a genuinely interested person who was simply on the fence.

And then…

I discovered she'd made a passive-aggressive public Facebook post about the situation.

That genuinely hurt.

Not because she didn't join Traffic Ignition.

People are allowed to say no.

I'm going to hear "no" approximately eight bazillion times if I keep doing internet marketing. 😂

What bothered me was seeing someone I considered a friend turn a private disagreement into something public.

Then someone else who saw her post actually started messaging me about the situation.

At that point I was thinking:

What is happening?! Are we back in high school?! 😂

I wasn't interested in spending my Saturday arguing with people on Facebook.

So I responded to the post, blocked the people involved and moved on with my day.

That's one feature of the internet I greatly appreciate:

The block button. 😂

I don't need everybody to like me.

I don't need everybody to like Traffic Ignition.

And I certainly don't expect everyone I show an opportunity to buy it.

But I also don't want unnecessary drama in my life.

I'd rather spend that energy building my business.

I'm still disappointed because I genuinely thought we had a good friendship.

Maybe we'll eventually clear the air.

Maybe we won't.

Either way…

Day 6 continues.

There's Actually a Lesson Here

This experience reminded me of something important.

If you're going to try making money online, you're probably going to deal with rejection.

Some people won't understand what you're doing.

Some people will think you're crazy.

Some people will love what you're promoting.

Some will hate it.

Somebody might tell you "YES, I'M IN!" on Monday and disappear into another dimension by Tuesday. 😂

You can't control that.

What you CAN control is whether you keep going.

I could spend the rest of today angry about a Facebook post.

Or…

I could write this blog post.

Send another email.

Make another video.

Help the four people who have already joined me.

Find member #5.

And keep working toward $10,000 per month.

I choose option two.

Six Days Down. Four Members In.

So that's where things stand at the end of Day 6:

Four Traffic Ignition members.

$20 in potential monthly recurring matrix commissions based on my current active members.

Additional commissions earned from upgrades.

One signup away from my first five.

And one fewer Facebook friend. 😂

Hey, nobody said this journey was going to be boring.

I'm documenting this from the beginning because I want you to see what actually happens.

Maybe this thing takes off.

Maybe it grows slowly.

Maybe I make mistakes.

Maybe three months from now I'll look back at this post and laugh at some of the things I believed on Day 6.

That's part of the experiment.

But right now?

I'm excited.

Four people might not sound like much.

But you can't get to 10 without getting to four first.

You can't get to 100 without getting to four.

And you definitely can't get anywhere if you never start.

So let's see what Day 7 brings. 🚀
